Yes sir. Sorry a typo. it is 221

    * interesting fact of the evening - that stretch of 221 is where Shelby Super cars (SSC) broke the record for the worlds fastest production car a couple of years ago, taking the title from Bugatti. SSC is made here in West Richland, WA. Not bad for a local guy that grew up around the corner from me, not of the famous Shelby family. Bugatti has since reclaimed the title for now.

You will be a lot better to run I-5 to I-84 and then pickup 97

Hwy 97 is THE route to take, unless it's closed. Big Jakes is THE place to eat if they're still open, and I5 to I84 is way out of route...

I find often the interstate takes the shorter but steeper route in the west. In this case it is the long way too.

I took 97. I'm about 72 miles from hwy14, at the rest area after climbing the steep grade. Thanks again everyone, I actually enjoyed the drive today. The fire is still going, so tomorrow I will have to go around it.

I will see the river in the morning. I'm here for the night. Does 14 have any places to pull over? I'll have plenty of time. Wal Mart wont take my load until 1400.
