I currently live in Indiana and I'm thinking of relocating to Huntsville, AL. How does that work with the truck? I understand I'll need to move on planned hometime but how do I get the truck from Indiana to Alabama? Could I load my stuff in the trl and just deadhead there If I paid for fuel?

That's up to the company. If they say yes don't be surprised if they charge you more then just the fuel.if you take more hometime then what is required, they may want you to leave trk at the terminal.
-
Just wondering, do you work for Millis?
-
No I do not but I have been driving a decade now.So I do know a company is a company. No company will let you use their equipment to move without a nice price Even then there's still no guarantees. In trucking its all about money.Their trls are for moving loads to customers not helping drivers out.I know it sucks but that's how trucking is.Im afraid millis will probably not help and even try.

You can call up or send a qcomm asking about it, but I don't think they are going to let you use the truck and trailer for moving. Most likely you are going to need to rent a Uhaul move your stuff, then drive back up and get your truck, or turn in your truck and get a new one down in C-Ville.

I believe millis will let you do 1 move, just speak with mike or ellan. And yes you will.pay for fuel. Lol

yeah i personally know a guy who used to be regional out of Cartersville. Millis let him use the the truck and trailer to move. not sure what they charged him but i do remember him saying it was cheaper than if he had rented a truck.

No offense but this is why I wanted millis drivers to answer (see last 3 posts)
-
Can't you just call the company and ask? Lol

No need to now. I'm done! As soon as the student tests out I'm handing my keys in.
samurai Thanks this.
