clicking Relay

    Well my relay for the A/C compressor in my fuse box is clicking? Why would this be? Freaks me out a bit. Don't want flames shooting out of there..

    you have a short or it has gotten weak from the heat and is clicking off sooner than it should. replace it and see what happens. if it still does it then you will have to look else where. check the blower switch or resistor(it is in the a/c heater air box) or maybe your blower motor is dragging causing to much draw on the circuit.

    They are supposed to click. Do you mean it is rapidly clicking? If it is try to swap it with another one to see if the problem is the relay or the circuits.

    Superhauler has it right. They get old and weak from heat and repetition, first step is a new relay. Eliminate that possibility and proceed from there. Cheap enough...
