We are headed to Jacksonville FL for the first time. Is there a nice truck stop, like Jubitz, there? How about a hotel with truck parking with a movie theater in walking distance?

Nope ... a crappy Pilot and TA 30 miles east in Baldwin. A small Pilot South of town. A J in St Augustine, there should be parking if you get there before noon. Then a few small - 4 to 6 spots - truck stops scattered around.

And for the record I don't consider Jubitz all that.

It's west not east. If you go 30 miles east of jax you would be in the ocean.

if you have a smart phone, download the app "allstays truck and travel"...it shows you all sorts of truckstops, from the megas to the mom and pops. it shows locations of a lot of hotels that have truck parking, walmarts that do and dont allow trucks to park. rest areas, scale houses, low clearances, etc... It costs $10 but I use it non stop. well worth it. Must have data connection to use it, since it is similar to google maps.
