I have a Uniden PC 68 XL that has not been to a shop in YEARS. I'm running duel Wilson 2000's off of a factory coax. I drive a 2012 PETERBILT that has a grounding issue (I can hear mu refer running through my radio). It has been so long since I have been to a shop to where the illumination light for the face place done went out. I run mainly western region and I know I need to hit a shop but I do not want to walk into a butcher shop. Any idea as to where I should go?

It is also a good idea to clean and "shiny" up all your grounds and mirror brackets from time to time as well.

As a matter of fact I dis wash and scrub on the truck. yesterday down in Ogden, Utah across the street from the Flying Hook; there is a do it yourself wash bay for trucks and RV's. I would rather take an hour or 2 to wash it myself rather than give blue beacon $60.00 to $80.00 to only halfway wash the truck. Looks good now....
