Yeah, I learned the big GOAL lesson the hard way. I guess if you're stubborn you'll pay for it real fast.

A buddy of mine though he had what it takes.... He was going to school in lake milton oh. He says his instructor was giving him a hard time which is why he forgot about the hydrant. Way to sharp right, over the hydrant which snagged on and then ripped off the first trailer axle and the last axle pulled pulled the hydrant out of the sidewalk. He got out of the truck, have the keys to the instructor and called my sis for a ride home. How funny -> He's such an ###.

How long ago did this accident happen?Where was your mentor ?It may not be on your dac right now but a month or less you might wanna check it again.I think your minor is not what the company thinks. You just have to keep applying and hope a company will give you a chance.

One time in Houston at this real small lot, trks have to unhook in order to back in.Well i'm backing in and hit the trl next to my dock, left a scatch but we both decided not worth telling our companies and I told the driver I would send her $100.00 to keep her mouth shut.I was good on my promise and sent her the money.

My mentor was sleeping. With this company, and I assume a lot of the other big training companies, you basically only get about 50hrs with a mentor sitting there training you. The rest is team driving. This happened late June, and I requested the DAC less than a month later, so you're right it may show up. I hope not.

A mentor sleeping while you are backing up? Now that is real smart.

I think 1 of your problems could be your location where you live (Seattle).

The other problem is companies are not quick to push the button on people who have been fired. No matter what the reason.

The 3rd problem is the accident, and seems like you are trying not to put the accident on your record, and once you do that. And then you go to a company for orientation. And they find out and send you back home. The next company will sometimes ask if you have been to orientations. Sometimes the company you went to orientation for will put on your DAC you falsified your application. Then you might as well hang up trying to drive again except for the bottom feeders that China town like's to advertise and then plan on working for next to nothing.

It's not too often I'll scrape a mirror but it does happen. First thing I do tho is get someone in charge of that building to come and inspect. I've seen way too many time; simple mirror scrape and run turn into "your driver wiped out the side of our building and drove off!". I always want someone there to confirm while I'm standing there that I've done zero damage. It only takes one jackoff person to see you do it and drive off then go tell the office about it; damaging your career.

I don't mean to get on a high horse or put others down but accidents and scraping mirrors don't "just happen"! They are caused by one or two parties not paying attention. Personally I don't move my truck until I know I'm clear on all 6 sides. If I need to get out and look a dozen times I will.
