    Late June isn't that long ago,you know how companies are,they're slow.I would check again if haven't done so recently.It all boils down to their insurance companies,they give the final call who can or cannot get hired.

    GOAL is the most important word in trucking,start practicing it.I can't even begin to tell you how many times I back every day.Probably more then many do in a week.When in doubt I always get out and look.

    Primes team training process is not for everyone, I would if I was you look at Craigslist, Look at TruckPaper and see if there are any companies who don't care what you have done in your past just your future, Ask them if they run a DAC? I know a guy who had a few issues with a single company and he just stopped going to those eho run his DAC, He is on with a small company running the 11 western and loving it, He figured out that if he calls in a Preventable that they allow for 1-3 depending. It isn't on his MVR just his DAC. I know trhis doesn't soumnd legal but if they don't run a DAC then tell them what you want to. He tells companies all the time that he had a Non Preventable and they ask how many? he says 1 they say no problem. I hope this helps.

    Like the old saying goes, "When the going gets tough, the tough get going". Get tough with it, don't let backing or any other part of trucking get the best of you!! Next time you drive into a truckstop. Don't be hoping you get it parked. Challenge yourself to do your best!! When it's all said and done. Backing into a parking space will be second nature to you. Be safe!! God Bless!!

    I bumped something the very first trip I took as a solo driver 33 years ago, and can't seem to stop bumping the same thing to this day, it's called a dock.

    but in response to your question, don't say the word accident, say incident. I'm not going to tell you that you were the first, nor will you be the last. You are still a wanted driver, just don't be hard on yourself.

    I have to go with the majority of voices here: I'd call it an incident, slight mishap, etc... avoid the term "accident" as it causes heart palpitations in Safety Managers... as for getting over your willies backing up, I tell new drivers all the time to remember TWO things:

    1. NOTHING, and I DO mean NOTHING, should ever happen in a hurry when the gear selected is Reverse;

    2. It takes a LOT longer to fill out the paperwork, than it does to get out and look...

    If you're blocking a bunch of trucks trying to get on with their day whilst you work it out, set up, pull up, stop, whatever, and let them go by, then go back to working it out... Turn on your CB... there's plenty of drivers out there that will help... just as many that want to have a giggle at your expense... ignore those, then ask anyone out there who IS trying to help to go to a different channel... block out the noise, and learn what works for YOU... everyone has a different technique, but it's time, practice and, most importantly patience, that will win the day and build your confidence... Good luck, driver, and be safe!
