A couple of my boys were betting their balls that they will never drive auto. But company cared less about their balls and put them in brand new Volvos with ishifts. Now they make fun of me that I have to jerk that handle all the time and talk about comfy and smooth ride, progress and stick for old stubborn farts.

    Phil S Thanks this.

I drove a T2 for awhile it was a great truck for me take a little getting use to turn ratio and visability but once you get use to man is it a dream. Has plenty of room you can actually stretch out some in it. Pulls the mountains no problem had a 15 spd with 3:55s only problem I had was the windshield would leak replaced 2 windows and it still leaked

I'm sorry, I keep seeing Liberace with a candle obbra driving a pink truck of some make, with an automatic transmission. Then I wake up. That tranny breaks on the grape vine, my day gets real bad. I quit playing in the sand box when I was a kid. (truck escape ramp)

In a T2000 you will think your sitting in a pick up truck as opposed to a tractor. Much more comfy :)

If the 2008 t2000 isn't too different than the 2010 t2000, then its a good truck. A little cramped inside though. When I got out of the t2000 and into a 2012 Cascadia, it was like moving from a single wide trailer to a double wide. But if you're driving solo it should do just fine.

Oh and those Allison Transmissions are nice. I drive a Mac day cab with the 6 speed fully auto. Just push the D button and go. I don't even miss the manual.
