Go broke ! Don't even think about this company! Husband willing to run as much as possible and anytime possible, this company put us in a deep hole with 42.00 week checks! This company is very very bad! If you want to lose all you have worked for then go ahead work for Giltner!

 

NO was not , he was a Company Driver, suppose to do 11 western and only got three states and lucky to get 1100 miles a week. He never refused a load and has no problem driving days or nights, he even requested more miles and they still messed with his loads made him sit ALOT even though they did like him and didn't want to lose him as a driver they never fixed the problem.

 

Excuse me he made 38 cents a mile, he has a good reputation on all companies he worked for he is a great driver with no violations. He is just looking for a reputable company that he can at least get 2800 miles a week.

 

No didn't advance his pay but 50.00 at the most. He called them pigeon payroll cause you had to put your miles in the box at the stops and you never knew when they would pick it up, so therefore he never knew what his pay was going to be... And to answer your question he said 1100 miles a week, minus taxes and health insurance. Trust me they sucked bad and the pay was paid only and if the carrier picked up the envelopes the old lady bookkeeper wouldn't change her ways and pay people without those envelopes even though they were scanned as well. My husband is an honest hard working driver with a good reputation. I would not of posted this for a second if I didn't feel he did his part. He took on loads for people that were late on theirs even. He was always on time to his loads and begged for more miles to run. He is not a lazy ### truck driver he wanted to run as much as possible. I just don't want someone else to make the same mistake on trusting this company to give them miles, they will give miles the first week. Then it goes to hell. I am honest im suffering from this company at no fault of my husbands, just a very bad choice on trusting this Giltner company! I just wanted to put my post on cause we got in a bad hole with them. Also don't think they will give you vacation time after a year they don't pay it, they only make you take it without pay, see how much they suck? He hung on for a year with them, BIG MISTAKE!

 

haha NOT!!!! he has Class! Why is everyone assuming stupid stuff like this. I said he is a great driver with great respect for others, He was not doing anything that would damage his reputation or his wife. he is not like a lot of drivers! He has CLASS and respect and just tries to make ends meet! He is not interested in stupid ### lot lizzards and never was.
