Hi Everyone! Hey, I'm a new graduate and have an offer for OTR and the pay is good but there are no benefits offered. I'd really like to have benefits included so I'm not switching companies after a few months. The problem is I have a white-collar felony only three years old. Can anyone recommend a company that's felony-friendly to someone with a clean DMV and no experience??? Thanks All

What benefits are you looking for?
If it is 401k and such, don't worry about that, just get some basic health care and do the road time.
My advice is simple, take what you can get and build up some road time before considering jumping. the more road time you have, the less the issue of your felony may be to a potential company.DoneYourWay Thanks this. -
I Ditto this, if they will over look the felony then you should go with them, take it for what it is worth, Stay there at least a year put miles on your clock and stay safe. Then when you have the year you can go pretty much anywhere you want to, but if you bite the bullet so to speak and stay two years then you can really go anywhere, But the 1 year is highly recommended! Keep you nose clean and G.O.A.L. if in doubt check it out! -
If you were to be able to find a job driving for a company who hauled their own products you would probably be better off. Having saying that I would suggest you stay with your company you are with now for 2 reasons. 1. No matter where you work you will grow tired of them and find fault. You need to condition your mind to roll with the flow, work with their system and budget your money. 2. If you can stay with a company for 4 to 5 years and be in good standing with them when you are ready to go somewhere else, you will be able to pick where you want to go and have a lot less hassel. Rember that the reason #1 will help you to be happy wherever you go as well as when your at home. Just be satisfied with the opportunity God throws your way and learn all you can learn.
That's this old man's point of view looking back over the years. -

So you're saying he was definitely working as a govt official or politician?
-
I thought white collar crimes was a term used for priests who commit crimes.

Insider trading, insurance fraud, embezzlement, bribery, money laundering, etc. things like that normally fall under the white collar crime category.
