I used to haul out of there years ago when I worked for Lester Coggins... They always seemed easy to deal with, maybe give it a shot or call them
-
I hit a day can cascadia.. It belonged to the company I was delivering to... Anyway you slice it it sucks, but at least it wasn't an o/o like us
-
not so sure about the freight.....I was told to be there Monday morning for dispatch to leave out.....long story short.....I didn't leave out till Tuesday night at 5:30PM.....one thing after another...kept getting pushed back ....so I leave out DH to Leesburg, drop and hook for east point, Ga.....OK the MT refer I pick up is half full so I stop and fuel it up...get to Leesburg, drop and hook ...this refer also less than half full because it has been sitting there running waiting for me from Monday night...so I fuel it up......get to the Atlanta terminal at 4:30 am Wed morning.....the delivery is 15 minutes away.....in the morning, I was told to deliver it 6:30 the next day...Thur morning tomorrow......so I have about 400 miles for the week going on Thursday.....I am now just gonna bobtail out, get something to eat, do some shopping, maybe see a movie....just waiting to go 15 minutes to get unloaded.....Oh well, life goes on......as for my tractor...I like it a lot!...runs great got 6.8 with the 70 miles DH and the rest with 42500 in the box.
I understand there will be a transition period so I'm just rolling with the punches and see where it goes.... -
The trailer you picked up for DH, and the one in Leesburg, you can get reimbursed for the fill up. Do a unit fuel authorization macro, and turn in a copy of the fuel receipt
-
yes...thanks!...I did 2 fuel authorizations today .....I am also going to be asking for a fuel authorization for the refer I am sitting under. It was not my fault the load was not delivered on time and pushed back a whole 24 hours. I don't think they will have a problem with that....I gotta say that using an APU for the first time is fantastic. I have the Tripac and it feels like I'm in an icebox at times. It also has the invertor to run my appliances and also a setting to just let it monitor the batteries at all times. If I am going to be away from the truck (weekend) I can just set it and it will kick on when the battery volts drop...sorta like a battery tender...
I did bobtail out today for a while and now just hanging out going to plug in a movie and relax.....real nice drivers lounges in Lakeland and Conley....
As I said before, there will be some transition time and I am OK with that.....I'm not really in there system yet.....my code for the gates and doors not working yet....I just need more time on the QUALCOMM unit but it will come in time....I've been on paper logs my whole life.... -
Do new O/O still have a choice between mileage and percentage?
-
I believe you still start on percentage with the option to go mileage...but once you go mileage, you can't go back.....
-
The money is on the percentage side. This last trip is a 2 stop load. I would have lost my ### on mileage. Way too much time on this load
mushroom1464 Thanks this. -
The good part of this load ***7.9 MPG*** (bread load)
