Look into a repro vintage units they use when restoring old cars. The compressors are smaller and more efficient now days. The clutches are 12v to operate are just a switch and 1 pos. wire and 1 neg. wire to a old ford like starter solenoid with heavier amp wire from solenoid to the compressor clutch. Fan/blower unit may be same. You will still need to fab a condenser unit and evaporator for the system. May come as a complete system?

Might be worth trying running off a high amp/torque 12/24 volt motor with a isolated set of deep cycle batteries run in series that can be charged when driving if you have room for an additional battery box that you mount to the frame. Sure would be quiet. Just a stupid thought.

Note: might want to look into marine continuous solenoids, there is a difference.

I would wire it with barbed wire to keep your more nefarious sort from messing with it.
