Well school is over for me now that I have my license, so I asked today.if I can come in practice till I go next month for my drive test. ( I have to wait for a female trainer ) they told me come back in 3 weeks and I can practice a day or 2. So lets see they got my money and now everything has changed this was not what they told.me when I started. Do you all think I will be ok with just some practice right befor I take drive test and backing test.

Companies didn't allow me to practice before any of my assessments. In fact, I got in trouble at one place for walking a course before taking my test.

My school doesn't let students take trucks out for free after they get their CDLs. They let students rent a truck and pay for an instructor for a couple hours of practice/refresher, though. If your school doesn't offer that, you might be able to rent a rig from someone to practice.

Congrats on getting your CDL, though. :)

My real training started after I left my trainer and went out on my own.

Hold on? Said you have your license so you must have passed your skills test? Congrats!

Now your just waiting on a female trainer? Out for X amount of time? Then upgrade to solo?

Yep, that's normal.. Your real training is about to begin..

White knuckles as another truck passes you. Backing into a tight spot next to a 379 Pete. Fueling, flipping the handle and some ####### left the lever pulled on the nozzle..

You are in for a great experience..practicing in the yard? Child's play compared to real world.
