Sometimes you can get those jobs right out of CDL school. It's just a matter of applying at the right time. Get your tanker/hazmat endorsements & TWIC and try to get some type of tanker job then you will be able to get a local fuel hauling job easier. Schneider Bulk will probably hire you right out of school; but there are others that will also. When you see posts of drivers making $30K per year with a mega-refrigerated carrier; you can double that with tanker/hazmat.
