Exactly. Must be a lot of short guys on here because being tall I find it uncomfortable to shift right now.

I don't get the whole thing of extending the shifter, shifters are too long as it is, I loved the gearshift in old or lowcab euro coes cos of the doghouse which gave you a real short shifter, gives you much better accuracy and feel, if I could I'd shorten the shifter in this eaton I would

Your best bet is to replace the air lines more chances for a leak if you extend them.i agree im a mechanic and driven a lot of diffrent trucks im 6'5 and some are to short i know the 379's we run have extra tall sticks. You will be fine with the extension Just make sure not to force it all that extra leverage can do some damage

If height is a problem, you do know the seats go up and down right? lmao

Seriously, gotta replace the lines. It boggles my mind people who do this, but I guess if you think it's cool then it's all good. I'd rather see a guy using a big stick than sitting on the floor peeking over the steering wheel like an old lady.

My seat is as low as it goes. And yes I can see properly out the window. I guess I could always just get a lo seat and sit down lower.

A shifter extension is cheaper then a lo profile seat

stuff that makes a driver more comfortable, less fatguied, wich means they are more alert and safe is really worth spending money on

It wasn't my money that bought it. And a 12" extension is only $15 anyway. It being taller would be more comfortable as I'm taller.

you can buy the airlines any length-they come on a roll-take off the plate on thebottom of the stick -will see where they connect -connect to splitter-real easy -use complete lines-looks crappy if you add on-ps-feels good for shifting-you will like it
