How often are DAC reports pulled besides when you first apply for a new company?

depends on the company, All companies are rquired to do a "annual Review" which must include your MVR report, Some companies do DAC at same time

Pull the MVR every year, but why pull DAC if they are already working for you? There would be no new info.

    123456 Thanks this.

DAC originally stood for Driver Abstract Center & they were the first 'one stop shop' to obtain MVR for any driver from any state..
Like any other information company you can participate in various ways depending on the amount of money you want to spend.

In the past i used them for Driver abstracts & added criminal non-finger print checks.
I would get notice that there was information available for any driver where any carrier had submitted a termination form but we did not pay for it.
WE did use them to obtain everyone's abstract just b/4 insurance renewal time to avoid the broker charging us more to get them.
We used those copies for every year's annual review.

I did have a free trial of the reporting services and just asking for an abstract would get everything else they had on the person's driving history but the cost was too much for a mid size carrier w/ 120% turnover.

We did submit the termination reports as each one = $2.50 off the next invoice.
For three years in a row I termianted 167, 166, 165 drivers so it adds up -or- reduces the cost of checking MVRs for all the drivers considered as replacements.
