The Carolinas are hit and miss. But yes theres good! freight out of there, you have to get to know the agents most of the freight never hits the boards

Im looking to get on with landstar running a flat been pulling flat for 4 yrs or more but hows the loads and rates outa Chicago area and so on
I would like a answer more then what a recruiter would tell me lol I have done a fue loads for landstar for Malone but not many and thay have payed well before but I wonta know that that wasn't a hit or miss deal -
I did a quick search of the load board for flatbed freight in and around Chicago for the next two days. I set the rate at 2.25 and the weight at 25k or less. There are 12 loads ranging from 2.34-4.90 and the weights were 1k to 25k. Im not a platform guy but Chicago seems to be a profitable area.

Whats is better for around Baltimore a step or flat or double drop
-
Depends on the time of month, Baltimore I a strange pool there. Flats do real well around Baltimore and Richmond , Norfolk. As far as which works best and makes the most money, flats are steady, steps run good rates a bit better RGN hit and miss if you can catch it at the right time you can get a good rate

Thanks for the information
