The company I am now working for is not paying their drivers, including me. I have a load that I am carrying and I am wondering what legally I can do to get my pay. Is it illegal to use the load I have to motivate them (hold my load) to deposit my pay?? I wanna make sure I am keeping it legal. Any advice from all you experienced drivers out there. Oh, and FYI I am self employed 1099 pay if that makes a different, I am not an employee. Let me know. Thanks.
What can I do to get my pay from a company?

Alright, well I appreciate the information. I guess I shouldn't drive for them anymore as they are going to keep not paying. They are close to going under, they have had their license pulled by the DOT and they are running another another authority right now....smh. In my new official trucking experience, I have never met so many shady, under handed bosses in my life? Don't they realize that truckers bring in the cash?? Then when I go to look for other work and they see that I have been through two companies in six months, they think I am the flake, when all I want is to be paid for my driving. It sucks.
