Always better to have it and not really need it...than it be an employment requirement , and miss out on a job because they won't wait for you to comply. Get it , it can't hurt....only help.
mje and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
You limit your options if you dont have it. Since werner pulls many loads for us, I have seen many of those trainer teams get yanked off loads because one or both of the drivers do not have the endorsement.

I am not sure but if you got the TWIC card recently the background/fingerprint check is a little cheaper. I got my TWIC card at the Port of Houston and it was a month before I got back down there to pick up my card.

Id get it, the more endorsements you have, the more valuable you are. You also have more options if you want to jump ship. Its an easy test if you read the manual and then you have it for 2 years. While your at it, in most states, tanker, doubles and tripples and passenger are only 5 bucks a piece and an easy written test.mje, Tonythetruckerdude and blairandgretchen Thank this.

Get every freakin endorsement that you can right now.
blairandgretchen, HotH2o, Chinatown and 1 other person Thank this. -
Endorsments only help you they never hurt you. While going to school you will probably have more time then you will after you start driving so get them now. I even have a passenger endorsment on mine so if worse come to worse I could drive a city bus or something.
blairandgretchen, Tonythetruckerdude and mje Thank this.
