It pretty much all depends on 2 things. 1) Your DBL (Driver Business Leader - aka: "Dispatcher") and 2) If the DBL will allow you to take your truck home is the Parking locations Legal for the truck to park there? and SNI Says it must be secure but this pretty much means will there be supervision over the truck within almost eyeball reach.

I am a SNI driver and I park my truck at home every week. But where mine is parked is pretty much right outside my front door and it is legal for me to park it there. Different counties and cities/towns have different regulations.

    Best of luck to you.

It will also depend on how your fleet is structured, meaning are you going to have an assigned truck or are you on one of the various programs with more hometime that require you to slip seat (share) a truck. Schneider has been setting up a lot of programs that require you to share a truck with one or more other drivers, that was the deal breaker for me here in Albuquerque, I would be parking my truck at any operating center and they were going to fly me home for home time every other week then I would be flown back to a different operating center and take a different truck, same with the dedicated auto parts account out here, different truck each week and I do not share well so it was a deal breaker for me.

You should not have a problem with that. Just explain it to your DBL once your assigned one.

    daviajosh Thanks this.
