I always use my EIN as the 2290 is to be filed in your name if you are the owner of the truck. You can call permits for help.

Question, so I am heading over to pickup a load and when I check in I find out the delivery date is three days after what the agent said it was for. So she says she has another load from the same place heading to the same area for a little better pay. So I said that's cool and I take that one since it delivers on the day that I want.
She takes off the previous FB # from my truck and adds the new one. I already took the pre-trip advance from the first one so do I need to give that back or do I not take one from the new FB and my settlement will show a +/- credit averaging everything out? -
that sort of thing made me start taking the advances only after I picked up.
ltdutchprior Thanks this. -
They keep tight accounting. Customer Service will call you and ask you to authorize a Comcheck for the advance. They will refund the card fee charged when the advance was taken. Then again, since it is the same agency they may not un less they keep it with the trips.Dewey120 Thanks this.

Ive had this happen before, call customer service explain what happened, they will take the advanced money back and advance off the new freight bill.
number. it will take longer to get a human on the phone than it does to fix the issue and its a hole lot better than going into the red a few weeks down the road when they find the mistakeltdutchprior and Dewey120 Thank this. -
Can they be trusted?
Hi, I have not been an O/O since 2004 and drove company trucks until 2009 when I quit. The bug might be biting again and I ahte my current job. I have talked to L/S recruiting and think they may be a bit cheap for what I want to do but hard to figure. ( A lot of variable expense to figure out here. ) Have pulled with Mercer,Panther, Autumn,Warren, and (wow) even done the Schneider thing once.(OMG). L/S tells me they have no specialized van frieght and I looking at 120" bunk with all the goodies. Don't need home every week now. Kids all grown. They tell me avg. $1.69 avg. for van last year without fuel surcharge but still seems light when fuel $4.xx. Can they keep me loaded and running miles. They tell me of course if I want to run tall miles than it be lower. (WTF). If I want good numbers on short haul then I certainly don't want a big truck. I don't want to try and do another run my wheels off to make payment and lose everything in end. Also not sure about this elect. log crap. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Maybe I make a good WalMart greeter. LOL. Thanks -
Will they hire you with no experience in the last 4 years? No, LS can't keep you loaded and running miles, only you can. No dispatchers, no nonsense. Book your own freight, if you don't like the rate, don't call on it and especially don't haul it. We have a lot of folks with big houses, but very few are trying run normal van freight with them.dogcatcher and landstar8891 Thank this.
