No problem getting a trucking job. Your felonies are over 10 years old; you may be limited, but you will have a job. If you can swing a private or community college CDL school, that would be the best choice. Swift might give you a chance with their school. Also, check with Driver Solutions and ask if companies they train drivers for will hire you.

chinaman,
please advise is ACT or PTL a good best Lease Purchase trucking company.. I am very sick as a company driver for over a year now that only can provide me a short mileage and money to take home ( Average 1750 miles weekly and $650 weekly take home).
I am going to take my rise to be a Lease Purchase Driver...because I am going to drive a truck until the day I die.
Thank you everyone that could insert an good answer here.

stryker started this thread, about his concerns. It's beyond rude to hijack stryker's thread, with your non-related problem. It would be best AND proper to start your own thread.stryker, Tonythetruckerdude, kickingdeer and 1 other person Thank this. -
There are some threads on here that has a list of places to go and check out for people with felony convictions.

i just had my "securtiy" phone interview with swift yesterday so im hoping it works out well

Good luck... i mean I know it looks bad with three felonies but since they happened so long ago that you have shown that you have been able to maintain a straight line you should be able to find a job..stryker Thanks this.

not sure what state your from but in ga the dept of labor gives out grants and pays for cdl, at least with this route you wont be entitle to stay with the company if your not happy, you can also try some tech school financial aid should cover the cost of the classes, but as fars as getting a job you should be okay,

Thanks. I'm in Idaho and hoping to stay in the Northwestern/Western Region. There are quite a few companies with terminals within 6-8 hours from home I could be based out of.

hope all goes well and you find a decent company.
stryker Thanks this.
