I am THIS close to going with Maverick when I get out of CDL school on Friday the 23rd of Aug, but I am also thinking of Boyd as well.I read mostly good things about both, but Boyd pays a bit more and also much more for tuition reimbursement. I guess what I want to know is, how are Boyd's trucks? Nice equipment? roomy enough inside? I would like to hear from any Boyd drivers on your recent experiences at orientation as well. Thanks!

TMC and macrick are pretty similar except tmc drives brand new 579 petes with 9 speeds in um and maveric drives auto trans FL's Also TMC drivers make a bit more then maverick or boyd drivers for hauling the same freght.

Yeah I know about TMC as well. I have crossed them off my list. I was already in army basic training 28 years ago. LOL.

I have a thread on here about Boyd. Like them so far, but this is my first wk solo. Will be able to tell you more later. I worked at Maverick and they are a great company. No complaints about either. I do like the 10 sod. Better then the semiauto FL. Truck wise the Cascadia at Maverick is a bit roomyer, but Boyd is updating all there trucks to the 72 prostar. s. Boyd has better tarps, that allow you to cover more loads without having to get your lumber tarps out. Maverick has a better securement class then Boyd, IMO. If you want more detail on Boyd read my thread. I will say Mavericks physical and agility test is much harder then Boyds. Anyway good luck to you. Both are great companies and I would have gone back to maverick but it was taking them to long to get me to oreintation.

Being x military you will be treated well at TMC. they have a lot of respect for those that served. They r no tougher than any other top carrier. you have very little down time between loads and they keep you moving. if home time is a question go with maverick. also TMC has the most thorough securement training.

I love the TMC is just like basic training rumor. Just not the truth. If you want to make the most money for doing the same job I would get on with TMC.

Or you could just go drive an automatic with the box of tampons where the shifter is supposed to be.
