I wasn't planning on applying until I have everything. I just had some questions regarding their requirements and wanted to speak to someone.

I am not in San Angelo but reading the forum here it sounds like there are plenty of jobs over there and in south tx. I doubt if all applicants are qualified.

You'll have to pm somebody. Nobody will post a name and phone # here. Arky, RSQdiver both just got hired by Sunoco. Try one of them.

    jcm0440 Thanks this.

Don't have her number but I'm sure a few clicks or a call or two to Sunoco and you can reach her. Erica Hunt, corporate recruiter for Crude Trucking at Sunoco Logistics in Houston, Texas.

Arky, we tore the roads up good outside the Sunoco LACT at Ringgold! I actually feel kind of sorry for the families who live on that road, got some holes my rig just about bottoms out in. Also observed a tanker running down into a ditch to avoid a huge crater, thought I was going to see some rollover action!!

I'm not going to go into very much detail here...but after being down here for several weeks now...I cannot, in good faith, encourage or refer any more drivers to the San Angelo yard. I made it through the brow beating of training to get stuck in junk equipment. I get various excuses as to why, but it's becoming obvious that it's more of a kindergarten mindset of "we're going to make you do it because we can". I have no experience with the other yards and this one may improve, but for now..my advice would be to stay away. If the situation improves, I'll post that here also.

I'm headed to the San Angelo area tomorrow from Florida. I've driven crappy equipment before. I know it sucks but you have to concentrate on the money you are making and the future.

Sorry to hear that. I thought SL would be a great place to start, but now maybe not. Hopefully their South Texas ops are better.
