I live in Surprise, AZ and am looking to buy a truck again. I was an O/O for 8 years but due to the housing market collapse, construction hauling died and I had to sell it and get a job. Looking for something from the mid 90's up, 450+ hp and a 13 spd. I prefer a day cab but would consider something with a sleeper. I am also interested in a truck that needs either mechanical or body work as I can fix it myself and save a few $$$. Not looking to spend much $. Let me know if you have something. Thx

I have one in my area. 1999 IH 9400 it had inframe engine, trans, etc (paperwork) and then got in accident (sleeper crushed, etc) Daycabed, painted, lots of loose stuff fixed.
Right now its being looked at for conversion to grain truck by large farm. (still set up for OTR except for sleeper) IIRC he was asking $27k area. Guy also has a Kenworth 600? with sleeper. He buys, fixes up, mods then and resells. He used to do maint/repair for fleet.
I think only reason the farm operator has not bought it is seller told him that he will NEED to add a axle for the 22' box/hoist/etc he plans to put on (and frame stretch) Guy does not want to pay for push axle (of any type) but even I can eyeball and see if he does not the first DOT inspection loaded (or elevator ticket check) and he gets tickets $$$
