I had just finished my pre trip and I got on my way. Then I reached the first red light, and as I stopped my hood flipped up against the deer guard. I jumped out quick and latched the driver side down then jumped back in the truck before the light turned green again. I wish I could say nobody saw it but there were a couple dozen cars and a pair of trucks at the intersection.

Oh I don't know about that. I seem to recall there was sunshine back in the day, and a TV cop that was awfully fond of lollipops who's name we used frequently on the CB... "Kojak with a Kodak at mile post 39 good buddy".
Ergo, sunshine and lollipops.Chase05, toostroked and Pmracing Thank this. -

Actually, my mother has a psych BA and has been driving for U.P.S. for well over 20 years. (What this says about the value of a psych degree is another conversation entirely... ) It's a union shop so she gets excellent benefits and decent pay. Got lucky and walked in fresh out of CDL school in the late '80s right after they'd been sued for sexual discrimination in their hiring practices.Last edited: Sep 10, 2013
