I thought there was different regs (somewhat) for construction although I could be wrong. I would say yes you can work 16 hours in a week, however you can be on line 4 all you want passed that 12 hour/ 14 hour if you fill out a log sheet. Now it's tricky when it comes to the 60/70 hour rule: If you get up to 60/70 hours in your 7/8 days then you can be on line 4 passed the 60/70 hours, however it will come out of the hours you have available for tomorrow. I say it's like borrowing money from mom today and you have to pay her back # 12:01. Unless of course you don't drive tomorrow you would be fine.

The restart is "anytime you get 34 hour off you reset your 60/70 hr , there is no limit as to how many hours you worked or how many times in a week you do one. You CAN'T do any work such as fuel, load etc while on the 34 hour
