had that stunt pulled with colorado scale. anything over the side of the trailer is considered overwidth. i was pulling a 96 that particular week cuz my normal 102 was in the shop. had a pallet load.
Total legal width for flat bed trailer?

I had a problem In Wy. Boomer was hanging over the side, the DOT said the handle was a hazard. Inspection. They need a job too I guess. $55.00 fine.

IMHO, I think it would be cheaper and more cost effective to buy a newer used trailer than the cost and hassle of all the work needed for welding. I mean what your talking about is ALOT of cutting and welding.

That pig was just being an A.H.!

If ya ever get pulled over and given crap from a pig, whip out the book, find the securment section then show them they are full of #### and if he/she gives you any hell, you'll be seeing them in court then take pictures of the trailer, securment and load and then some on the point of interest. Commifornia I believe to be the only state where you can get cited for the dumbest #### in the world.

New Yuck and Lousy-ana can be buttmonkeys too.

I get
2 26' @ $180 each = $360
2 11' @ $ 77 each = $154
30 Drings @ $4 each=$120
Total=$634
One day of my shop time=$500 That would include the torch gas, welder, wire, CO², grinder and disks.
I dont see for $1100 it would make any kind of sense to spend $20,000.00 on another trailer. But please keep me in mind when you need to put brakes on your trailer and decide to scrap it. Because that will be alot of work. I will even pick it up for free.dannythetrucker, BAYOU and MJ1657 Thank this. -

Well, I guess I'm offended too, on behalf of the real pigs that you insulted by comparing them to cops. Real pigs actually serve a purpose.
