So I have done all my research and I start training with Millis in Ohio on September 3rd. I am excited and ready to work hard. I know my free time will be limited as I learn this new career. Besides working, showering, eating and sleeping, I would like to work out when I can. I gained some weight over the years, but I do a lot of push-ups and I am trying to eat healthier. Do any of you drivers work out while you are over the road? I don't really want to join a gym but push-ups, crunches and some dumbell would be nice to work in. Is there a way to do this? Where can it be done?
Thanks.

I seen a guy at the flying jay one time with one of them punching bags that hang on the little stands they make for them

I jogged when I had time in the mornings. But each driver creates his/her own plan. Do what you like doing. If you don't enjoy it, you won't stick with it. So it doesn't matter what the rest of us do. You'll figure out your own exercise routine in time.
One caveat: don't worry about it until you are out of training. While you are in the trainer's truck, focus on your training. Plus, you are sharing a small space with another. It would simply be dis-respectful to drag along a bunch of dumbbells and start flinging them around while your trainer is there. If you have time to do a bit of exercising outside the truck while in training, go for it. But keep it simple. You can pack up a bunch of equipment and get more focused on it once you have your own assigned truck.Arkansas Frost and Moosetek13 Thank this. -
Here is my fantasy if I Can Watch Someone do the work outs and I get ripped abs as a result of it wouldn't that be nice
I see a lot of drivers around the truck stop just a getin it jogging and jiglin breathing that healthy low sulfur left overs in the air. While Billy bobs goin around them blowing dust storms all around the parkin lot like he is chasing an Invisible NASCAR Hot rod.. Yumm what a feelin
haahhhh? My favorite exercise is to go the pilot fancy toilet and try and see if my internal jake brake sounds louder than the jake on my truck How about it?

I have a jumprope, 2 25 lb dumbbells, and I follow Crossfit online. Keep it simple and stay active. The longer you're out, the more you'll be able to find to do. The key is to start and stay at it! Good luck man.
