I am currently looking at my DAC report. I don't see any area in it that would have the capacity to report abandoned equipment or quit under a load.
I see the following fields.
A company profile Name Address and phone number.
START and ENDING DATE of Employee
Eligible for rehire
Reason for leaving
Driver status
Driver experience
Equipment operated
Loads hauled
Work record
The only other information that is on it is accident information reported by the given company to DAC. And it provides a 7 year history of it. Any driving experience that is listed on my DAC that is older than 7 years and the company uses DAC does not offer accident history.
You also get a 3 year report on inquiries.
Ok Now I am Getting Paranoid! Which do they use MVR OR DAC???

Yea landstar looks at DAC, but a lot of companies aren't putting stock in it anymore, To many bottom feeder companies posting BS reports on drivers. They tend to look at what companies posted the reports as well and make a decision from there
drvrtech77 Thanks this. -
those are not yes/ no answer sections. comments can be made in any of them. reason for leaving, and work record being the most logical
-
Does Fritolay Use MVR or DAC OR both
-
New at this forgot to thank you spyder. for your knowledge
-
Im not sure anyone on the Landstar forum could tell you what Fritolay does. You might want to post this in the general Motor Carrier Questions forum.
I think all companies look at your MVR, most larger companies will use DAC as well. -
it's quite alright man. the thanks thing is of no importance, too many will just give me an even bigger ego
-
No written comments on DAC. Everything on it is point and click. You can only check a box next to pre-selected options. And they can't conflict with other selections. An example: can't have satisfactory work record if terminated for safety, ect.
-
ok man, leave a company truck somewhere and see if anyone else will give you a job
-
You guys are GREAT!! The Frito~Lay Question is going to need to be taken to the Regular ask a Question section. Good Luck.
