For me ( HIRING O/O's ) I will not talk to anyone about being hired on as an O/O with less than 5 years experience & a GOOD credit report.

He's not looking at leasing a truck. He's going to buy the truck straight up from a dealer or another driver. Then go lease to somebody like mercer landstar(Don't go) or whoever

Crdit has nothing to do with what he is saying.
And mercer will higher you if you have 1 yr recent verifiable and a truck.

You will need at least 6 mths if you can find a company that doesn't advertise.
1 yr for big ones with adds all over the place.

    ThatboyB Thanks this.

He asked a question about becoming an O/O to which I posted a reply pertaining to how I hire O/O's, as for a good credit check if more companies did that there would be far less FAILURES.

And where did I mention LEASE anywhere in my post ?

Essy fix, since you worked at that company that moved to Mexico. For your last 3 years.

Get your truck and join a small fleet. After all you are paying for your own insurance... pft on big companies and all their stupid policies.. this is the p-ssyfying of america.

All companies you lease to will run a credit check and background check. At the minimum .

It's an insurance company thing, not the big companies . . .
