For me if there is anyone who has been making me want to go off and throttle them its been waynesboro(except for edith, since I think Cory & josh keep her in the dark about everything), basically the last few weeks have been the worse, most of my anger has been at josh. Anyways, got empty in buffalo this morning, found a place to get the trailer wash since the company is inept at update the washout list, and Cory tells me to go ahead and head home. I get done with the washout and the phone rings... And the screen says van Wyk." Wth is it now" I wonder before hitting the answer button on my head set. It's Cory telling me they want me to grab a load out of buffalo area to head into my home truckstop near bath, ny and hand it off there..... Oookkaaayy, sure, I can do that.... I get to the shipper to find its not scheduled to load until next week!! So I call and josh answers... "We'll as long as you have hours still we can see what we will have you do", never mind I don't pick up hours until the weekend? Sitting at the shipper still and watching my 14 hour clock tick away. Cory, josh, jay and some other people better consider themselves lucky I'm not near the Sheldon or waynesboro terminals right now....I'm that ready to strangle someone at this minute.

Still hoping to put my vacation in yet, no doubt someone is bent on keeping me away from the offices during business hours so I can't put in the request. Once I come back from it, I might consider looking to go back to mileage pay ,so where with a good rate. This percentage crap may be the ticket if I wanted to haul nothing but waynesboro's "I 95 load all day/ drive all night forget about getting any sleep freight" , but I like to get out there and back, and at least with mileage it pays for all loaded and empty, but logging 3000 miles a Week and never cracking 1000 a week gross means that ad where they state a $.41 a mile average is a falsehood (not counting the miles I use to get to the house.). First things first though, I could use that paid week off so I don't lose it.

the disturbing part for me here, is its one thing for a company to have turnover, which is normal in the increasingly dimwitted trucking industry, but that along with dispatchers leaving left and right? Not a good sign.

Before I left I asked Angie once if she cared to tell me why her and Mike always butted heads. She only had one reason. "I won't lie to drivers for him." No wonder she left.

As far as your vacation for goes Spyder just call it in. I did that all the time with Dale since I'm rarely through Sheldon and never had a problem. I was starting to think you had been abducted by aliens or something Mushroom since I hadn't seen you trolling around here lately. I'm the same way with my login credentials so I say to hell with it and stay logged in.

As far as the washout list goes, the ones listed in the book are only ones where we have charge accounts. Those are only updated when new locations for a company are opened. If it's an area we frequent and I find a washout that isn't listed grab a business card from them and pass it along to Janet and she will set up an account for us. Some of the information we use out here comes solely from drivers ie washouts, food banks & parking information so if one person doesn't report this stuff the rest are left to make it up as we go.

Lmao "Load All Day, Drive All Night 95 freight..." unless something changed in the last 6 months and my friends over there aren't telling me this but that's kinda inaccurate.. I hear there's plenty of water loads going around DC from Allentown but that's only an 4 hour ride at tops.VW Northeast isn't for everyone but with the trade off of making $800 to $1100 a week driving sometimes less than 9 hours a day and being home every weekend... shiiii if I had to run nothing but midwest I wouldve been quit but hey each it's own I guess

And just let you know, Josh is only doing what Cory is telling him to do... your anger is pointed at the wrong person,
