Good Luck, Angelique! I just talked to Mike again today...I'm really leaning toward them. Hope you're able to keep up posted!

Does anyone know anything about the 16 week externship program I was looking to go to the school for this program using the Pell Grant now can anyone tell me is the portion where they get you on with a trucking company for some many weeks paid?
-
call them and ask for mike- good guy- . You have to find a job. 10 weeks of school and 6 weeks at your job. about to go their on the 23rd. they will help you find a job. no school will just give you a job. if you really want a job go to the company paid training and get a job - not a good idea- sign a year contract - pay sucks- be a slave. no thanks.

will be going to TDDS in November and I can't wait. I'm doing the 16 week externship program.

I just finished 4th week at TDDS.
I am in that Aug.26th class you missed due to death in family (sorry for loss)
We have one of the largest classes theyve had at 29 people so maybe better you missed it lol
If youre staying in housing, HAVE YOUR OWN TRANSPORTATION!!!!
Several in our class said they werent informed of this and have 5-6 people cramming in one classmates car who is kind enough to haul them back and forth
Also, word on the street is the WiFi at housing sucks. No coffee pots in rooms.
Just some of the complaints Ive heard.
Our instructor, Scott, Is a great guy. Easy to get along with.
We've had at least 10 recruiters come to class so far making grand promises, so be prepared and do your homework. Thats why Im on here now, researching companys.
All and all, so far Im pleased with my experience.
Oh, and bring outside, cold weather clothing. When outside, its in a huge huge dirt parking lot. Its dusty as hell. And you'll be getting into colder weather, so be prepared. Raincoat wouldnt hurt either.
Good luck
Tim
