Husband called him a little bit more than interesting and strange! :biggrin_2559: It was a driver for another major carrier ...tugging doubles, no APU and said he wasn't allowed to idle the truck .... he had a fan in the truck. Poor guy was probably suffering heat exhaustion. There are advantages to driving for TransAm .....

$1300 and 15 hours later, KW has set me free! Overhead Pm done, PM B done, three-axle alignment, pretrip switch and a coupke little things all DONE! Now to attempt to convince dispatch t get me out of Olathe with a different load than I brought in. What I brought in delivers in CO on Wednesday and I got it in Bunker Hill, KS. However, if they wont pull me off of it, I will grab it up Monday night and get the heck out of here before there is staff in the terminal again. Gonna try t dodge out of getting a drivecam for a bit longer if I can manage it, lol.

Hey fellow truckers i just found another location to some good food when your staying at the Royce City Holiday Inn. If your willing to take a short walk start walking towards the Mcdonalds on S Elm Street till you reach W West Main Street make a right turn and you will see a few mexican restaurants and further up the block you have Luigi Italian Cafe and Marino's Pizzaria i went to the pizzaria and the pasta is drlicious. Its worth the walk...

$1300 of what is in my maintenance acct. Either way, it was money of mine. My cost was for both PMs and the alignment. The rest was warranty. They apparently replaced the same wheel seal that was replaced yesterday too. But that was warranty work still. Im mostly happy about getting that alignment done before my tires go more out of whack!

Hiya HTQ,:hello2: everything is good here. I have been in contact with TransAm about setting a return date, to come back in the lease program. My TransAm contact surprised me and ask if I wanted to return as a company driver. Hummmmm! I said “H”to the “E” to the “LL” YES!

I have to wait until early next week to find out if my paperwork has been re-approved. I am excited to return as a company driver, I hope I am not getting my hopes up for nothing. You will notice a much more positive tone in my futre posts if TransAm takes me back as a company driver. I will do the lease thing if the offer of company driver offer does not work out.
