last I checked, most of the students I've met, fresh out of truck school, were trying to get their feet wet because THEY WERE BROKE AND NEEDED A JOB!!!.
I guess you feel good about taking the loyalty points away from someone who could probably use them to get themselves some food?,...so they can send those extra dollars of actual pay to their now, likely desperate family back home?,..You ever been out of a job for several months and behind on your bills and desperate???,...Nothing like being in that position, hardly able to buy yourself a hot-dog, and your trainer kicking you in the teeth over a few loyalty bucks now is there.
That one always burns my butt. If you as a trainer are so desperate and underpaid, you have to skimm the loyalty points off a student, then you need to seriously re-think your career, even of you ARE paying for that fuel.
I think that trying to justify such an action by ANYONE would only prove to others how low and cheap, one can be.
Just my thoughts on it,...Rawze
Can't take it anymore....new drivers you are not slaves

Nah that's where Juarez is not Juaerz our wherever this guy comes from.

BTW, he still thinks it's a student that made the OP, and not a trainer. I bet he's just a dream to train under.Tonythetruckerdude Thanks this. -
#####. I don't have a dog in this fight, but that's an awesome post. You see the rookies wandering in the truckstops because the trainers won't idle the truck, and it's hot and stuffy in the top bunk. We invite the rookies in and buy them a meal. Then the trainer shows up and pulls the rookie away, because the godlike trainer most certainly don't want his cash cow to talk to us and find out that he's a participate in the dumb and dumber program, and his godlike trainer is still a rookie himself.

ladr,
You sound like an excellent trainer! -
I figure if anyone is working for mileage pay and on forced dispatch, then they are a slave. Plain and simple....

I'm with a trainer right now who lives and only drives in California. I also have to stay in a hotel while he goes home. I plan on going OTR, Anyone think it would make a difference if I found a trainer that drives out of state?

Through your logic you're essentially arguing that any person who has an obligation to their employer in order to get paid for the amount of work they do is a slave. That's basically every person who has a job.

Misspelling a word or two or three, no problem. Not knowing how to use a past participle, nobody cares. But don't you think it's a good idea to put your sentences together in a concise way so that all your readers can understand what you're saying? I commented because I could not understand what he wrote.Chase05 Thanks this.

Each of us have had different opportunities when it comes to education. Most of us come here to discuss various aspects of the trucking business. We're not here to improve and/or comment on the spelling and grammar skills of others who share that interest in trucking. If you're having that much trouble reading someone's posts, you might just wish to skip over them in the future.
