1995 white gmc speedometer won't work

    1995 white gmc aka Volvo speedometer quit working also cruse control and mileage counter won't work either
    checked fuses no help any help would be appreciated

    If it doesn’t have a speedo cable, and I’m thinking it doesn’t, it could be the speedometer drive located on the transmission. Good luck.

    bad VSS wiring ore bad VSS. Wires run from tranny output shaft to engine ECM

    What ECM? DEEC-II ore DEEC-III?

    Not shore it works sometimes. Must be bad connection somewhere ....I will have it checked out at dealer

    unscrew the sending unit from the back of the transmission and wipe the end clean most times that is all it takes

    Bought to new sensors for back of trans no luck anyone know wherei can get a wiring diagram for the speed sensor
