Your probably right, makes sense... I was talking with some people in safety on Friday (I got called in for a random) they said they are probably going to get rid of the sunco terminal on Chesnut and move everything over to the landspan terminal... Which has a lot less parking. Although I don't really spend any time there, I live an hour and 1/2 away

I got my self on the waiting list for the minute maid shuttle fleet... They said I can expect a 2 year wait. But I like the idea of being home every night and the drivers I've spoke to said the money is even better than they made on the SE fleet.. I guess I'll see.

They should get rid of LandSpan terminal and keep Chestnut, more room for us to park. I have used that place many times, beats tryin to look for a parking place at pilot haines city

LMB, you and everyone else who is on percentage have nothing to worry about in terms of being forced onto mileage - UNLESS they change their minds again. I predict that not only will they NOT do that - but that eventually they will go back to percentage pay. Why? Because when drivers start leaving in droves because of Mileage Pay, they'll have no other choice. $1.00/mile plus FSC isn't bad if you're running 3000+ miles/week - you can meet your payments and still take home a nice check. But at 2000/week? That's another story. Time will tell...
BTW, why did you leave JCT? -
My wife and I were a team, she got sickFrank Acavano Thanks this. -
Lmb,drivers at jct do they make any money?
-
Yes they do

Average they take home after payments

It has been over four years since I worked there, You would do better going to a JCT thread to get the latest info. There are several running now

I have been running on the Atlanta fleet for 3 weeks and if you're looking for miles...this is not it. You get about 1000 loaded miles with some deadhead ....my first partial week was 750 miles , my second full week about 1100 and now my third week is looking to be about a 1000...if you are young with a family, mortgage and monthly bills then look for the 3000/week .........this fleet is kinda for the old head guys who have no truck payment, own their homes and cars and truck when they want to......
BTW....my second week, I had to put two drive tires on it....the 3 week old caps came apart...I put a set of new ones on.....now I have all new...no caps......I just hope they refund some money back for the defective tires.....cost me $951...
seems like you swim up 10 yards only to get pushed back 5....every time!Frank Acavano Thanks this.
