Was there Sat afternoon. Dropped a meat load to Calif. due Tuesday for a meat load delivered this morning in Tacoma.

4 stop pickup of apples with a drop in NC and final stop in FL. Not often you see a 3600 mile load. 255 DH and 3345 loaded.

Different perspective here. On the company side, you're always looking for miles. Lease side... the shorter runs don't have the higher gross revenue figures, but a short run means a lot less shelled out in fuel, and wear 'n tear. I'll take the short ones, thank-you!

it's 3360 miles from Seattle to Miami. Its a little over 3400 from San Diego to Easton Maine. My only perspective was to point out that its not often anyone gets a single dispatched trip with 3600 miles on it. Lease, company, solo or team.

I will have drove past pickups 2,3, and 4 to get to my 01. Tomorrow after pickup number 4, I will drive past stops 3, 2 and south of 1 on my way to NC for my first delivery. Then on to my final stop in Tampa.

Im currently training and we've got 6 stops and the appointments that go with it, so I hardly think I was trying flaunt the miles. Company or otherwise.

When running team, gloating doesn't begin until well past the 6k mile mark for company drivers.

I will save my gloating for when it really matters..... tomorrow when my MPG reported will be high 9s if not 10.

I remember a floral load I had, empty from Lakeland to Miami and then up to Pierson. The load stopped in Tupelo, Memphis, St. Louis, Spokane, somewhere north of Seattle, and I dropped it in Blaine, WA right at the border for another carrier to take it and do about 5 deliveries in and around Vancouver. Don't remember the miles, but it was above 3,500, and it paid pretty good too.
