If experienced, you don't go out with an instructor unless you want to. The ? Regarding how long after being approved would be better answered by a recruiter but I' d take a guess that your start date is based on the date you were approved and space available.

Thank you for your response. I believe the orientation and other conditions for full employment should be enough. My first trainer had me for 5 days, which was sapposed to be 3 weeks. He dropped me in Atlanta at one of the terminals. He just told'em to give him a truck and let me run. Nice guy too. I have done this before way before DAC reports. I posted 0-1, because no history exists prior to DAC. Fresh start a lot of things new and most for the good. I am glad the outlaw cowboy days are over. I am just like a kid at Christmas and can't wait to get the rest of my papers into recruiting. I learn a lot here from the drivers and appreciate all the responses. Thanks again

I'm lost, I'll admit it. Just had 9 days off then a very slow (but relaxed) week last week. Got deadheaded home on Fri for 200 miles. Not looking foreword to next week as it's going to be extra hot just about everywhere.

    jxu417 Thanks this.

    FYI Maverick Drivers

For those of you that don't know. You can fuel at the TA in Mt.Vernon, MO on I-44 Exit 46. This is a family ran TA and they love Mavericks. Sometimes they will help you fill up or wash your windshield!

The location is great for us as its right on the way to Springdale or the fort. Especially if you are doing the Hwy H short cut. You don't have to get back on I-44 to get to Hwy H either, just make a right (much easier) when leaving the TA and follow it around.

Hey guys or gals. Question. If you miss your mandatory break, 11 drive or 14 hour rule by 4 mins, do you get a violation? Or does your EOBR revert back or forward to the nearest 15 min.?

If they send you into Canada during the winter and over mountains. Do they supply chains or coils?
