Anyone pulling out of Turkey, NC check your FSC. The one broker out of St. Louis is only paying .46 cpm. I argued about it, but with no results. Just have to refuse the load next time

Seems skinny if its a reefer load... Ok if it's dry... My AC took a #### on me... Marisol said it was slow coming out of Florida so I'm getting it fixed...
-
It's a dry load, but the price of fuel doesn't come down for dry loads -
Well you don't have to put fuel in the reefer tank...
-
As a matter of fact IMO .48¢ is not bad at all for a dry load...
-
The national avg for FSC is now .56 cpm, but nevermind, it's only money
-
I'm not sure where you got that rate? I personally don't pay much attention to fsc... I'm more concerned about gross rate for all miles... They can break it up anyway they like...
-
I just looked it up on pro miles... It's .44¢ this week... I'm not sure where your getting that .56cpm rate... Pro miles is the industry standard

Well guys, it's been real. Saying goodbye to Sunco hurts, but it was necessary. Between the poor truck mileage, and now mileage pay, was getting squeezed too tightly on all ends. Have my next move in mind, will share it shortly. I spoke to another Sunco driver who told me that mileage pay will be coming for EVERYONE after the first of the year. Get ready for the mass exodus... In my exit interview yesterday I shared that in order for mileage to work, everyone will need 3000+ miles per week, and it ain't happening now...at least in the SE division. He agreed that is what will need to happen eventually and that they will be training their ops dept. to start pre-planning guys so they can get in the necessary trips/week to make that goal. But of course many of you still won't like mileage pay as an O/O, after having been on % for so long. I told him to get ready for many unhappy contractors, but he assured me that Sunco must do this to stay competitive - that they're essentially breaking even since 2004. We shall see. I wish you all the best here, and will pop in now and then to share my adventures. Live long and prosper!
Bumper Thanks this.
