    That's why my dispatchers carry.
Now I have to be on guard every time I'm down at the office

At that age I have to wonder if he could no longer pass a physical, or maybe the insurance company would not insure him any longer, that has happened here.

He may have taken it that the only people he could lash out at were those of the company, who knows?

Did we ever conclude that the shooter was actually a former driver or a former farm hand?

Someone said a farm hand. Regardless of what the man's position was, it still is horrible.

You have to understand, Pritchett Trucking is the logistics side of the company, Marvin also had many guys working on his properties around Union county, and other counties operating logging, and other various farming operations. They were full time employees just like the rest of us, and yes Hubert was a 32 year veteran of the company. The Pritchett's also operate the Nextran Mack/Volvo dealerships in the state. Sadly, David Griffis, the mechanic who was shot, passed away from his injuries this morning.

Keep the Pritchett family, and family of drivers and employees in your prayers. I can say this from experience, they're a very tight knit group, and you're honestly not a truck number there, they know you by name.

Hopefully in the end it will be determined that the shooter had an ailment serious enough to have affected his judgement. Hard to imagine this was anything other than that.

It said he had a list of targets. Apparently the SOB was planning this. Shaking my head.

My grandfather used to say "be nice to a man on the way up, you will meet the same man on the way back down." It just goes to show, sometimes, people remember you and hold a grudge, and will get you back if you screw over them. But then, it might not be that way either, this dude might have been mad because these guys teased him in a friendly way for backing up crooked back in 1985, who knows.
