AND you have knowledge of this how?? Prime may mention it at orientation but that may be the last time you hear of it unless your trainer is a l/o.

Good luck and have fun. Welcome to the club

That's not true either. Company drivers accrue 1 day per week at Prime, and you can use 4 of them at a shot not including your arrival and departure days. 3 weeks minimum between hometime requests. Of course, you're not being paid while the wheels aren't turning, so it boils down to how much your finances can withstand the interruption of the money flow. There is also a weeks' paid vacation earned every 125,000 dispatched miles.
Lease ops can take as much hometime as they can afford... that depends on your skill at managing your business. Personally, I get home whenever I want- and usually take cumuatively at least 2 weeks off every year.
This being said, if your desire in life is to sit on the couch with momma, you shouldn't be driving a truck. -
That hometime SUCKS! Compare it to Rohels 7 on 4 off then 7 on 3 off! Prime hometime is very bad!
-
I gotta get in on that!! $833+ million?? LOL...j/k couldnt resist! those are still nice checks!
-
We're drivers, we move freight. The fact that you need to be home 50% of your life doesn't define the way I live my life.
-
Home time is relative, I work local delivery which means I work nights.......on a good night I am able to wave at my wife when we pass each other going to or coming from work, sat I catch up on sleep........so in essence we see each other on sundays...........always working nights sucks the life from you.........I have been accepted at Prime.......what home time I accrue will be alot better quality..........believe me
