Hubby always does a post trip. That way if something is wrong he can have whatever done while he is stopped instead of finding it when your ready to roll.

Wonder why "post trip" and "break" are not on the qualcom drop down menu?

I always check my lights, trailer, tires, etc when dropping a trailer, and after a load, but I've never logged it on the QC.

Are we supposed to be making a remark when taking our 30 min break?

Yeah, I always write-in "CHILLIN...." when logging my 30 minute break.

Sorry to hear about the vision. Glad he finally got out of the hospital though.

For those of you on here who don't read my blog on Facebook:

    Trucking lesson of the day:

When you slide your tandems all the way forward to squeeze into a tight spot at a TA...

DON'T FORGET TO SLIDE THEM BACK!!

Otherwise you'll get to experience the fun of getting pulled into a Colorado weigh station and having to explain exactly why your tandems have 37,600 pounds on them.

Thank God for the DOT officer with a sense of mercy for innocent mistakes.

My first suggestion would be to hire a guy wearing a cowboy hat and driving a black Trans Am, and then run like hell.
