Working about 24 days/month avg, I'm at almost exactly 100k miles after a year on my own. So excluding home time, I've worked 41 weeks which averages 2439 miles/week.
You get mileage pay plus accessory pay (load/unload), detention pay and layover pay. The non driving pay adds up to several thousand $ per year, well over 10k, maybe even 15k or more.
After 6 months, your take home pay should be about equal to a 50-55k 'regular' 40hr/wk job.
EDIT: now that I'm typing with a less tired head, I'm prolly high on that accessory pay estimate. probably closer to 7k. I don't think it shows year-to-date accessory pay on the pay stub (at least not that i can see) and I was off on my hasty guesswork, lol
