I think it's 5 years in bc....
-
I think 5 in Nova Scotia too.
-
5 on an Ontario CVOR. Even if it's a crap notation there is now way to fight it in Ontario.
-
Five in Manitoba, and I think three years for CSA.

Everything goes on your record and stays there. It depends on how far a company wants to check. I've been put out of service several times throughout my trucking career. Never had a hard time finding a good driving job. Don't think it was ever mentioned by any employer. Don't know much about this csa garbage but I would think you earned a few points. Not sure how it works

You mention it never got mentioned at an interview or anything of the like..Would this not affect the insurance rate your company would have to pay for you to drive for them? I got an OOS for a dang tire 2-3 years ago and always thought it would affect the insurance for me..
But for the OP, I know it's on for 5 yrs in ON.. -
like i said, its hypothetical...
i had a clean record for 13yrs on the highway
been 100% off highway last 2yrs, but now some of the equipment is sneaking onto the highway, so far ive refused to do it, the equipment will not pass an inspection, theres no reason for me to tarnish my record, just wanted the details of the actual penalty to MY abstract/driving record -
Drivers don't have a CSA score.
