most of all if the lable says anything abount not operating heavy equipment, then best not to and for the morrons that don't have a thinking section in the brain that also means your personal vehicle. around here they have more people on 2 years of drug testing for that than for actually useing drugs.

Are you taking it for ADHD or narcolepsy?
It is a schedule II drug except in California it is a schedule I.
So I would venture to guess that an examiner would not allow it, even if the prescribing doc said it was ok. -
I know you guys will argue this forever. The fact is it is allowed. I was once on adderall and tested positive. Gave the medical review officer my script info and that was that never heard about it again. Also I never worked for a company that felt they needed to know my personal business. When I was on adderall I disclosed it at every physical and the dr had no qualms about it. Only thing they wanted to make sure was my BP was ok.

Do companies ask what meds you are on? I never experienced this. But I never worked for one of the mega otrs.
virginwidow Thanks this. -
Why do you think that most mega companies have you go and get a medical from their doctor and you sign a release. -
If your going to cut and copy the regs don't just cut out what you want. Here's the whole thing.

Especially read part b that's what applies to you.baha Thanks this. -
I'd hope not.
-
I never worked for a mega carrier but I would think that whatever is on your physical is private between you and your medical examiner.
-
I just went in today to get my med card renewed and as soon as I told the doc that I was on adderall it was an imediate disqualification. The examinor told me that as of may 23 2014 that you cannot drive while on adderall or even if it is perscribed.
