Haha, I'll be honest with you guys - I could NEVER do what you guys do. Flatbedding would kill me. Aside from the fact that I'm not in decent physical shape, I have horrible balance and would end up falling off the trailer somewhere down the line. And I'm not good at all with extreme cold, I don't think I'd even be capable of tarping a load in below freezing temps.

If someone asked me to build a desktop computer from scratch, I could do it with my eyes closed. But I couldn't figure out how to tarp a load properly if my life depended on it (just ask the guys in the barn in NLR and the guys in my flatbed training class). I just couldn't get it. You don't even want to know how screwy mine looked by the time I was done. *shudder*

It's fun to jab back and forth with the flatbed guys, but in all honesty I have an immense amount of respect for those of you who can do it. You guys, way more than TCD, are the heart of this company and I always get a little sense of pride every time I pass a flatbedder with a nice tarp job - I may not be a flatbedder myself, but I'm proud to be working for the same company as you guys.

Made it home today @10:30 local. Leaving WAY early Monday morning. No restart so next week should be a good one.

-side note: Just finished giving the truck a MUCH NEEDED top to bottom scrub down on the inside. I've been in 12401 for almost a year and I'm STILL cleaning ArmorAll off everything.....seriously....
