I've been there and done that and it's hard work pulling a dump trailer. Just started 2 weeks ago and I was about ready to quit the first week. Many do. The second week got better after learning the drill and channels for the loaders and scale. and the routes and customer locations were a pain. Running all state and county roads took some getting used too but my second week has been much better. Payday will tell the tale. I've dumped before years ago so I halfway knew what I was getting into. I ran a line haul for the last 8 years. 450 mile round trip in a international daycab pulling a 53 ft box interstate all the way so that's probably the reason It's seems so ruff to me to start but it's gonna get better!

I know I am new here do have a B license and feel I have to say get your A, it gives you more options. I'm driving a straight truck now and they are cutting back my hours to an unacceptable point and now I have to go back and get my A.

For as easy as getting a class A is, why not and therefore limit yourself to both yourself and future employers?Flying Dutchman Thanks this. -
