if that's what u want to think u go right ahead & believe ur own b/s. I won't have no company watching me do my job & if u feel like u have to do that with ur trucks and drivers then u sir wouldn't be worth 2 cents to work for. also ur attitude sucks

We do have them. It doesn't bother me at all. Someone mentioned the storage issue, there isn't any, after 20 minutes it overwrites the previous recordings. The only thing that upsets me about the system is when I've been driving for 5 hours straight and have to pee so bad that I forget to put my hat over the camera as I'm going into my emergency container, having my manhood firmly in my hand then looking up realizing I'm on display. At that point I just smile. I figure it's their idea, they can live with me and my manhood on display. I just hope some disgruntled employee doesn't put me and my belongings on some porn site, then my wife will really get pissed.

then grow up and leave, if you agree to to something keep your word like a man, I've never had respect for employees that sneak around instead of just facing the facts and dealing with it...

My boss joked a few months ago about installing these in our trucks. I offered him the keys, I'm 45 yrs old, I'm a grown adult, I don't need a babysitter watching me while I drive. Now, if he wants it facing forward, well, then that's a different story, but it doesn't need to be watching me. The same thing a few years back, we used to use Verizon PTT for our dispatching, by a fluke, I realized that via software on his computer and these phones, he could track our location and speed. Unfortunately for him, I could also use the same PTT feature on my cellphone, which did not allow him to track me (it didn't have the software installed). Next day, I "accidently" dropped the company phone while at a customer, and their forklift ran over it. Oh well. Since he didn't have an extra phone, I activated my PTT on my cellphone, and synched it to his phone. We could communicate for dispatch, but he couldn't track me. 3 months later, they cancelled the service because of problems with Verizon's billing.

I've yet to see you give a reason why this is a good idea. Maybe you're the one that needs to grow up and treat your employees like adults, not like teenagers that need babysitters.

it really doesn't matter the reason, it's their equipment, it's never right to mess with something that's not yours, it's your choice to work there.. no one is forcing you.
and I have to disagree, the majority of drivers I see on the road these days do need babysitting.

Just put a hat, e-tape or something over the camera when parked and remove it ( if you want ) when you are driving down the highway...... Problem solved

So let me get this str8.once ALL trucking companies do this because why not with people that think like you do.so then what smart guy?its a nice lil way to do as they please.they can use it as an excuess to dock your pay anytime they wish.hey there we have u on cam looking down for a split sec we have no choice now but to take your bonus away.

ps I think people that talk big like you should have to carry a drone up their ### and a wireless cam on each should pointed down at their sweet spots 24/7.i mean after all u have nothing to hide right...

once again, it's their equipment, you are their employee. ..if you don't want to do it their way then buy your own equipment.
