Do not go to CRST. Bash yourself in the head with a shovel instead because it will actually be better for you than driving for CRST.

You might want to read the story on here about how they treat drivers...it'll make you run the other direction.

    Hello every one ; I am orion1
Ok I hear about CRST , Stevens , Werner good and bad, Crete going down hill, Pam going down hill, U.S. Xpress, U.S.A. Trucking,
    Central Refrigerated, ..
    Don't go there for training.
So where can a man start training to be able to make a living..
And at least last a year and be able to pay your bills.
    Any help would be great.

    Thanks

    mje Thanks this.

You're going to find flaws no matter where ya go.Even with companies that require A couple yrs exp joins the bad company thread. Those companies you mentioned, for some they are bad and for others they are a good company. No matter where ya go you're not going to find that perfect starter company.Lonesome suggested Roehl, who knows you may think they're not the right fit for you. These companies don't nearly have a bad rep like say crengland. No matter where ya go,you're there to learn and get the exp and that's it.That's all starter companies hire for.Werner you do a lot of north east which is great exp.

    mje and orion1 Thank this.

We've been at USX for six months. Overall not a bad company to work for. I would recommend it to other rookies.

I think the biggest advice I have is use this huge resource drivers have that is The Truckers Report . We started out doing dry van OTR. Miles were inconsistent. An ex USX driver told me about the companies reefer division. It's only for teams & they don't have a lot of them. That did the trick. Getting the miles & loving the paycheck.

    Thank You Truckers Report !

Yes you are right, I am there to get the training it's what fits. So many people give bad rep so much research to find that fit easy to miss something.
    Thank You
